About Buran Ghati
Buran Ghati Trek is one of Himachal Pradesh’s most spectacular high-altitude treks, offering an impressive journey through dense pine and cedar forests, lush green meadows, snow-covered mountains, glacial landscapes and remote Himalayan valleys. The trail begins around the beautiful village of Janglik, where traditional wooden houses and peaceful mountain surroundings create a charming start to the trek. As you move higher, the landscape opens into the vast Dayara Bugyal meadows, surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks and rolling green slopes. Further ahead, the trail reaches Litham, a stunning high-altitude valley near the Chandranahan region, where dramatic mountains, waterfalls and snowfields create an unforgettable landscape. The biggest attraction is Buran Ghati Pass, situated at around 4,572 m (15,000 ft), where the scenery becomes dramatically alpine with steep snow-covered slopes and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
