About Dzongri
Dzongri Trek, nestled in the enchanting landscapes of West Sikkim, is one of the most beautiful high-altitude trekking destinations in the Eastern Himalayas, offering an extraordinary combination of natural beauty, adventure and peaceful mountain surroundings. The journey begins from the charming village of Yuksom and gradually leads through dense forests of rhododendron, oak and magnolia, where fresh mountain air, colourful flowers and beautiful forest trails create a magical atmosphere. As trekkers ascend towards Dzongri, the landscape transforms into vast alpine meadows, rolling green hills, rugged mountain ridges and breathtaking snow-covered Himalayan peaks. The highlight of the trek is the magnificent panoramic view of Mount Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain, along with other majestic Himalayan summits. The peaceful environment, dramatic scenery, crystal-clear mountain atmosphere and untouched wilderness make Dzongri a paradise for photographers, nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts.
