About Hanuman Tibba Expedition

The Hanuman Tibba Expedition is a challenging high-altitude mountaineering journey into the spectacular Dhauladhar Range of Himachal Pradesh. Rising to approximately 5,982 metres (19,626 ft), Hanuman Tibba dominates the skyline above the Manali region and offers an exceptional objective for experienced trekkers progressing into technical Himalayan climbing.

The expedition begins from the Manali region, gradually leaving behind forests and alpine meadows as the route enters a dramatic landscape of glaciers, snowfields, steep ridges, and towering Himalayan walls. As the team moves toward the higher camps, the terrain becomes increasingly demanding, requiring proper acclimatization, endurance, teamwork, and mountaineering skills.

The summit phase involves negotiating snow and ice terrain, glacier sections, crevasses and steep slopes, making equipment such as crampons, ice axes, ropes, harnesses and other technical climbing gear essential. From the upper reaches of Hanuman Tibba, climbers are rewarded with magnificent views across the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges.

More than simply reaching a summit, Hanuman Tibba is an expedition into the demanding environment of the high Himalayas—where discipline, patience and determination become as important as physical strength.
